TRX

I learned how to use the TRX system today. It's total body training using suspension cords and your own body weight to work your entire body. It combines work requiring balance, core and strength training. It's much more fun that lifting weights and you do feel well "worked" by the time you're done. I completely enjoyed my training session today learning how to use the TRX.

Here's what I'm flipped out about today - I lost my security badge for the second time in two days. I was totally pumped up from my training session and went down to my locker, grabbed my stuff and walked out to catch my bus. About a block and a half down the street something just felt wrong. I had that niggling feeling and I stopped to check for my badge. I couldn't find it. I went back to the club - couldn't find it. Dumped everything out of my bags - couldn't find it. Then I got home, dumped everything out again - couldn't find it. I'm starting to think that I might have Alzheimer's except I was told that losing your keys doesn't mean you have it, but rather when you can't remember what they are for and I do remember what the keys and security badge are for.

But, what the hell... So now I can't enjoy the sense of relaxation I felt after working out; I'm flipping out about losing my badge for a second time, and I'm a total wreck now that I have to go explain to the security people how I lost my badge two time in two days. PLUS! I can't find the phone (totally not my fault, as I had put it on the receiver before I left the house this a.m. - I REMEMBER that!) SIGH.
