I met Sarah in Larkspur at the Lark Creek Tavern, the renovated Lark Creek Inn. I have no idea how, but in all the years there, feeling that Bradley Ogden and I had been somehow long-lost foodie friends, I had never made it to the LCI to eat (quel horreur!) Last night's dinner was a lovely melange of flavours. We started with a beet salad, perhaps a tad light on the dressing, but very flavorful, then we had a blue cheese souffle (cheesy-souffle-y goodness), and then quinoa cakes in some type of delicious squash ragout. Finally, for dessert, we had the most delicious, creamy butterscotch pudding.
Sarah gave me the most beautiful little earrings (presh-ious), which I'm wearing today. Tonight - more food!
