Today was Mommy Movie Madness--still not a mommy, but still love movies. Mommies met in Marin (Thought bubble: how long is it possible to keep alliteration up?) We saw "Valentines Day" a perfectly charming movie, great for the group.
Afterward John and I went to visit Dottie. Well, we were invited to dinner and Dick and Barbara's in Greenbrae, who we haven't seen in some time, but we actually hung out with Dottie a good portion of the evening. Dottie is beautiful. She's half black and half white. She's got short hair and dark brown eyes. This bitch is strong though. She nearly knocked John over when he went to give her a hug. The only downer about Dottie is that she kind of whines, especially if she isn't the center of attention.
John and I hadn't really had a chance to hang out with Dick & Barbara for some time, so this was a great opportunity to get caught up--except Dottie kept interrupting. Even during our fabulous dinner of spicy grilled fish with black bean and rice, Dottie needed all eyes and ears in her direction.
Finally, Dick just yelled at her, "shut up bitch!" Perhaps he was a little harsh, but I think Dottie got it. She sat right back down.
We gathered our things a bit after 9 and Dottie was nothing but hugs when we left. It was a great evening with our old friends and one new one--Dottie
