Five Counties, Three Events, Two Modes of Transportation

I never really thought of myself as an overachiever, but today I fit the bill. I lean towards extrovert, so what would any good extro do when offered three outings? why accept of course, which is exactly what I did. I hit five counties in three hours: Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Sonoma and San Francisco.

At 10:00 a.m. this morning I hopped into my car and drove the 50ish miles to Petaluma to attend my dear friend Charla's baby shower. At noon, I hopped back in the car and headed South East, back to Oakland and hopped on BART to meet mommy movie club. We saw, "She's Out of My League" - feel free to miss that one if you were thinking about going. Then I took advantage of being in the mall and picked up a few things, hopped back on BART, got home, and started gathering tax info (the 15th is around the corner).

John got home and we headed to Yoshi's to see Zigaboogaloo (Zigaboo Modeliste, Dr. John, Garth Weber, Donald Harrison, Nicolas Peyton, and others) for an evening of Jazz Fest prep. John and I ended the evening with our critique of the show - I loved Garth, and Zig, and Donald and Nick. I thought Dr. John was dragging when he played guitar. John loved Zig & Garth, and Donald and Dr John and wasn't so crazy about Nick. So we agreed to disagree. But now it's ten p.m., and I'm exhausted and the week is just beginning, and I've got six more days until my weekend because I'm working next Saturday and I've got a bunch of different stuff to do all week...(help)
