Franklin

Call it blue laws or call it "the south", but things just move at a slower pace in the south. We went to historic Franklin to the battlground of "the battle of Franklin". we arrived at the plantation which didn't open until noon-nor did the town of Franklin.


What I found most fascinating during our visit was a book of letters home from Confederate soldiers. The letters put you in the middle of the he'll of war. Soldiers in their teens were out fighting their brothers and cousins. One young man described
