Gearing Up

I ditched out of work just a little before 5; hustled down the escalator just as the Pittsburg/BayPoint train pulled up. What timing! I made it home by 5:30 in time to spend an hour with John before he headed into The City. We grabbed "cheapy-Chinese" on Lakeshore--big, tasty food for cheap, and then parted ways, he to S.F., me to the Grand Lake to see "It's Complicated".

This time of year I hunker down to see as many Oscar nominated films as possible before the big night. I've only got four weeks and there are still a number left to see:
- An Education
- The Blind Side
- The Hurt Locker
- Julie & Julia
- The Lovely Bones
- The Last Station and if I get around to it,
- Young Victoria.

I've got a lot of work to do. So...not so much new for tonight--a charming little movie--and it may be that way until the Academy Awards are over. I'm in training for the rest of the month--grearing up for The Big Night!
