My friend Vince journied up from southern Ca for a business trip and stopped to visit along the way. Luckily for me he must have forgotten that the last time he was here he challenged me to spend an entire day drinking at Heart & Dagger with only one cold pizza to eat all day- yuck. Having just returned from New Orleans the last thing I was up for was more drinking.
I tried to not remind him by avoiding the bar and rather took him to the new Ethiopian restaurant on Lakeshore. I loved it. I love the spongey bread, the abundance of vegetarian options, and the reasonable prices. Plus I sincerely enjoyed the company.
